HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR MASSAGE TREATMENT WITH REIKI

Reiki is a non-invasive energy healing system which triggers the body’s natural ability to improve and maintain good health.  It helps the body attain its natural balance, thus releasing blocked energy causing illness and other problems.

Reiki works with the Higher Self promoting health and well being not only to the physical body but also the emotional and spiritual bodies.  When the energy is not felt on the physical body, healing is taking place at a deeper level.  Emotional blockages are being released, healing the recipient at a subconscious level.

A massage therapist may enhance his/her client’s treatment by simply allowing the flow of Reiki through the hands as the massage is taking place.  This in return will help the client relax deeper and receive healing more openly.  Some of the health benefits immediately felt while the recipient is receiving Reiki is stress reduction and relaxation.  This is administered by laying of the hands directly on the physical body or the auric body.

The cause of most illnesses and other problems is in the aura.  The aura is a created by all of your thoughts and feelings.  By healing the aura you will be treating the problem before if can manifest in the physical body.  Once the physical body has been affected by an illness or problem, it is a good idea to treat both the physical and auric bodies.  As Reiki enters the recipient’s auric body, it will go directly where healing is needed and balance begins to restore.

To improve a massage treatment so that at the end of a session the client feels completely relaxed and restored, physically, emotionally and spiritually, a massage therapist should always treat the aura first.  By doing so, the recipient will respond better to the massage and Reiki.  The energy will flow more easily and healing will be received much better.

At the end of a Reiki Massage session a client will not only feel relaxed but rejuvenated as well.  Their body’s natural energy level will be restored bringing the client to a state of balance.

Enhance Your Massage Therapy Practice With Reiki

As a Massage Therapists you work so hard and diligently at helping people release physical pain.  As an expert in human anatomy you know the exact area to target on your client’s body to relieve pain and prevent further discomfort.

You spend hours every week massaging people and restoring them to good health from the stress blocked in their body.  In doing so, you are also
using your own body as a healing tool and absorbing the energy that is being
released by them.

This negative energy remains with you, unless you know how to release yourself of them or protect yourself from absorbing them.  If your energy field constantly gets disturbed, eventually you will wear down physically and/or mentally.

As an expert in your field of work, you want the best for your clients.  You educate yourself continuously to offer the best massage modalities that best suits the client’s needs and in return for your outstanding efforts your client refers their friends to you.

As part of the required continuing education for massage therapists, not only should you learn new modalities that will improve your practice, but you should also consider learning methods that will bring healing to yourself as well.  You are the most important person in your business, if you break down your business
breaks down, therefore maintaining your health should be your highest priority.

Consider energy healing methods such as Reiki for example, one of the most effective energy healing systems amongst alternative wellness professionals.
Learning how to use Reiki on yourself will help you heal, release stress, and balance your body’s energy field, to name a few.  The benefits are endless.

You may also use Reiki on your clients while massaging them to enhance the healing and relaxation process.  As a Reiki practitioner you will be able to generate more energy through your hands chakras and create more heat as a result, thus making the massage more effective.

Adding Reiki to your practice will also help you expand your business as well.  As a Reiki practitioner you may offer private sessions of one hour in length and charge a fee for the service as you do with massage.  Fees vary from $55 up to $100 per hour depending on the location you live in.

Take some time and explore the possibilities of introducing Reiki to your business.  Start by learning how to heal yourself first.  Attend a Reiki Level I class and grow from there on, moving forward to Reiki Level II and III.  Learn about upcoming Reiki Classes HERE.

What is Reiki?

Kanji Reiki SymbolReiki is a Japanese word that means Universal Life Energy.  It is a healing art developed by Dr. Mikao Usui in the late 1800′s in Japan.

Dr. Usui had an intense desire to understand and work with methods of medicine and healing and in doing so he developed Reiki.

Reiki can be learned by anyone regardless of their personal philosophy or spiritual believes. It is a potential that lies within each one of us and released with each initiation received.

As a Reiki Practitioner you will be a vehicle by which energy will flow through you and pass onto another individual receiving the healing by laying on hands method.
